Financial Policy

An estimate for costs of treatment is presented at the time of consultation.  Payment is due at the end of every stage of your care with us, i.e. at the end of the consultation appointment, and at the end of your final treatment appointment.  Our office does not accept personal cheques, but does accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Interac.

As a convenience to you, our office provides for electronic submission of estimates and completed treatment forms to your insurance company so that you can be reimbursed. Because an insurance plan is a contract between you, the patient, and your insurance company, we consider you, not your insurance company, responsible for the entire account. We do not accept assignment of benefits or any form of direct payment from the insurer. Most insurance companies provide coverage in the range of 50% to 80% of the fee assessed.

To avoid a cancellation fee, our office requires two business days’ notice for any appointment cancellations.
