Veselin Trifonov, DDS, MSc (Endodontics)

Veselin was born in Bulgaria and raised in Toronto after immigrating to Canada with his family at a young age. His passion for the sciences led him to pursue an honours specialization degree in Pathology and Toxicology at the University of Western Ontario.

Veselin’s childhood dream of becoming a dentist came to realization when he was accepted in the University of Toronto’s DDS program in 2013. While in his third year of dental school training, Veselin attended an externship at the prestigious endodontic program at the UT Health Science Centre in San Antonio, Texas under the supervision of the world renowned endodontist, Dr. Kenneth Hargreaves. Veselin returned from the externship knowing that endodontics was his calling. Subsequently Veselin attended the Unversity of British Columbia where he obtained his MSc in Craniofacial Science and Diploma in Endodontics. He was a clinical instructor for undergraduate students at UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry in his last year as a chief resident.

During dental school, Veselin was awarded first place for his work in dental research and presented his work in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He has also presented research work in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Veselin is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Ontario Dental Association, and the International Association for Dental Research.

Out of the office, Veselin enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, exercising, and reading.
